I played Mighty Mights at a young age for a year but only seriously started playing when I was a freshman in high school. My primary position is Defensive End and Linebacker but, I can play anywhere on the field. This year I had 41 total tackles, 18 solo tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 sacks in my 2019 season. My Freshman Year I was a backup Defensive Nose/Tackle and recorded 12 solo tackles, 24 total tackles and a sack. I also participate in wrestling, bouncing around in the 160 and 170 weight class. And I participate in track as well doing the 100, 200, and 400. I hold the school record for the 400 meter dash.
My team goal is to help take my team to a state championship since the team hasn't even been to a league championship since 2011. Personally, I want to make it to the NFL but, I want to squat 500 pounds and bench 315 as well as run a sub 4.5 40. I'm not afraid to lay a hit. At every position I play I utilize my hands, speed, and strength. I will play wherever you ask me to play. I am a finesse oriented football player but will go to brute strength if required.
My coaches and teachers have told me that I am a phenomenal athlete but still down to earth. They also say my work ethic is top notch and that I don't use excuses or injuries to stop me. Every year I volunteer at a large "garage" sale to help make money for our fire department. I have earned student of the month in both my years of high school and hold a 3.67 GPA. I'm a firm believer in team leadership. And believe every team should have a leader who will always pump them up and elevate the level the team plays at.
