When I first started to practice football, it was for a clinic my cousin had attended in Texas, as my family moved away from Hawaii.
I was slow, unorganized and stubborn. I messed up a lot. Jace had me recenter and told me i'll need to grow up sooner or later and try to not waste his coach's time. Difference from the islands. That was 3 years ago. Today, when I step on that field or in a classroom. I am showing up to work, with no excuses. My family have given me opportunities beyond the islands. I don't intend to waste their efforts. But show up to work. Put in the effort. I attend a great school that has birthed a Mariota and Tagovailoa. I can only continue to try my best and be the Palimo'o coming to put in the work our brotherhood produces.
