My name is Aspen Caldwell. I am a Junior at Thunder Ridge Highschool. Thunder Ridge High School is in the 5A Conference for the state of Idaho.  I am a major competitor and I love making goals and working hard at achieving and exceeding them! I am definitely self motivated and have a very strong work ethic. I love being a part of a team that's all working towards a common goal, winning. I am a 5’7 135 pound point/shooting guard. As a freshman I was able to play with the varsity team and was the 1st one off the bench. I got rewarded with the (5A) 6th Man Award along with 2nd Team All Conference and Honor Mention All Area. My sophomore year I was able to help my team make it to the State Championship. I was awarded Defensive Player Of the Year, 1st Team All State Tournament, 1st Team All Conference, 2nd Team All State. Averaging 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.5 steals a game. With my Junior season coming to an end I averaged 19 points 5 rebounds 3 assists and 3 steals. I also finished the season shooting 37% from the 3, 44% from the 2, and 80% on free throws. I was awarded 1st team All Conference, 1st team All Area, 1st team All State Tournament. Not only that but I was able to join the 1000 point club! One of my biggest strengths is my speed and quickness, being able to stick to anyone defensively and beating girls off the dribble. I also play AAU with Idaho Flash Futures 17u. When i’m not playing basketball i’m constantly lifting weights and training with my personal trainer. I do know, however, that without having a good education basketball doesn't matter. Along with basketball, school is very important to me. With that being said, I proudly have a 4.0 GPA and participate in honors classes. I would love to have the opportunity to bring a different level of competitiveness and leadership to your program by being a potential player at your school.
