As a student-athlete, my future goals are to graduate college with a bachelor's degree while having 4 successful years playing baseball at the collegiate level. As an athlete and a student, I always give 100% to my team and my studies. I believe in putting others before myself and working hard when nobody is watching, however, I have always been taught that someone is always watching. In addition, I have been a multi-sport captain as a result of my ability to lead and encourage my teammates, both on and off the field. Off the field, I have greatly enjoyed giving back to the community using baseball as my tool. Working with the Challenger Program, the Miracle League and the local youth baseball teams, I have been able to help others in a variety of ways through baseball. Giving back to the youth is important as I continue to practice leadership skills. I look forward to continuing these goals at a higher level and growing as an athlete and an active participant in the community.
WHAT THE SCOUTS ARE SAYING
The thing I like the most in Michael is he can drive the baseball to the opposite field with some power.
Michael is a confident, coachable young man. He is always looking to improve upon not only his physical game, but the mental side as well. He takes criticism well and asks questions along the way. He will never be a problem for your program, only an asset.

Michael pitches with confidence and seems to have a feeling of what he is doing, in that he is throwing his curveball to the outside part of the plate with two strikes. He has a balance stance with a little knee bend while he has good bat speed and quick hands. Michael bars his back arm and has a short compact swing as he does a good job of keeping his hands inside the baseball.
