By no means is respect easily earned or given. It is up to the individual to present their character in a respectful fashion, yet this goes beyond just exercising the common courtesies. I am very passionate about everything that I do whether it is athletics, grades, community or faith! Moreover, in all of my interactions, I put forth an initiative to foster hard work and determination. I find that taking this extra step, that most do not take, is transparent of my actions in how I go about life.
I have been playing Gaelic football since I was 6 years old, playing American Football since I was 8! Gaelic Football has taught me how to kick a ball for distance and American Football has taught me how to kick a football with a purpose! It has been a dream of mine since I was a little boy playing American football to play collegiate Football when I get older. I have a defined plan with clarity, commitment, inspiration and hard work to reach my dream to play collegiate football.
In terms of responsibility, I believe that my hard work experience with athletics and the level of importance I emphasis on getting good grades in school is exemplary of that. Additionally, I actively participate in several school sports’ teams and I am very active in after school clubs. Furthermore, I find that it all goes back to personal responsibility; holding myself accountable by showing up and contributing to my extracurriculars as well as performing my schoolwork to the best of my capabilities. I always strive to lead by example which is evident through my work and my involvement in Football.
