I was the team captain for our team my senior year and my junior year all the coaches told me plenty of offers we’re headed my way. Covid hit hard and ruined all chances of recruitment. Nobody reached out. I did all I could and al I could afford. I won second team all-state with 122 tackles, all metro, and all region. I thought surely that would get me something. The only d1 offer I received was a walk on I could not afford at JSU. Later on, they told me I was no longer needed and I was already attending school their building a debt. I am home now for my second semester of freshman year attending Jefferson State community college looking for chances to play again because I feel I could make an impact to a team that would just give me a shot to prove it.
