Why are sports , academics , family , and faith all important to me ? These things are important to me because it allows me to push forward for greatness. A lot of people say that they'd rather put academics before sports or put Sports before I could akademiks but I beg to differ. The definition of greatness is to push for better than what you normally stand for. I believe that combining both elevates you not only as a player but as a man overall. You have to be able to balance both because in the pros these are some of the things that is going to be required of you to balance the only your career on the field but also off the field as well. College to me is a dream come true and a lot of my family did not go to college where is I would be the first in my family to go to a major college and play for a major Collision School. I want to break the barrier or stigma that all African-Americans or slow but not intelligent and they only utilize aggression as a tool to get by. Me not only as an athlete but as an African American male would like to be on the Forefront to speak on positivity and how you can utilize facing education as a means or a tool to grow as an overall person. In my family means the world to me. My family is the world to me. I see that they are pushing themselves everyday to allow me to grow as a man in a positive environment shows that I can reach for Greater Heights . I have greater expectations for myself so my family can live comfortably as they allowed me to . It allows me to achieve greatness at the high school level where I know that I am worth more then the high school level. Greatness awaits everyone who wishes to achieve maximum efficiency by utilizing positivity as a constructive tool for change.
