My mom always said there are no participation trophies in life. I never really understood this until I started playing competitive baseball. Then her statement rang clear. It doesn't matter what it takes, if you want it work for it and get it. You will not find anyone willing to work harder than I will. You will not find anyone that will motivate others like I will. I do not expect that baseball is a given. I know that talent only gets you so far. It is the work an individual is willing to put in that makes things happen.
If you want it... work for it. Why take a chance on me? I am willing to work hard and never quit. It doesn't matter if it is on the field, in the weight room, or in the class room. It does not matter if it is an individual goal or a team goal. I WILL WORK FOR IT! There really are no participation trophies in life.
