Middletown High School
I’d like to say I’ve been living a very dedicated life. My whole life I’ve found motivation to strive for something more than my current situation has allowed me to have. I work hard for the things I want and for the things I want to give to those around me. I try hard to be a motivating figure to those I love and care for, just like the people that motivated me on television, such as Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt and Trayvon Bromell. I carry my dedication on and off the track because not only do I want to be a better athlete, but a better man as well.
After discussing over with my parents, coaches and most importantly, God, all the amazing opportunities Track and Field would create for me, it was clear that I needed to pursue the opportunity with everything I have in me. I know that giving this sport my all means that a lot of doors will open for me. This means that my chances at being successful in this world of competition would grow pretty significantly, which is all I needed to hear because I love what I do as an athlete.
They say only the strong survive and I know my athletic abilities is my ticket to go to a great school, which ultimately means a great education. Getting into a D1 school would provide me the tools needed to make me the strongest man I can possibly be; both mentally and physically. It would provide me everything I need to excel and take care of my family.
