I have been playing basketball since I was five years old it was a way for me and my father to bond. I remember waking up to go to the park to go see what he had for me next because I was always hungry to learn something new. As time went on my dad became less unblocked because because he want me to learn to fight for a spot on a team on my own. One day during a game I got pretty badly hurt and my doctor told I would have to take a few months off to get healthy. During this time in my life it was really hard for me mentally and the person that got me through it was my dad just like when I was younger he always told me I could do all things through Christ as long as I could believe I could which is why you are not going to find a player with more heart. Being a student athlete is such an honor because my dad always wanted me to have a good education because he never had one which is why he would always tell me “you have a gift which you can trade for an education because remember the ball is going to deflate but no one can’t take away your education”
