Is it your dream to play sports at the collegiate level? Have you worked hard with your team, performed well in the classroom, yet you are overlooked in the recruiting process? Don't worry...there is still time to build your recruiting exposure and college connections. The Dream Scouting Network has helped thousands navigate the recruiting process. Let me tell you a little about myself and how my knowledge and experience will help you every step of your recruiting journey.
I grew up on long island, while living in E. Patchogue NY and attending Bellport High School in
Brookhaven NY. I tried out for many sports in middle and high school while getting cut consecutive
years but never giving up until Football, Basketball and Track found me. I played center in Basketball
and was most improved for 2 straight years, played tight end in football while earning the Duff Overton
Award and threw the shot and discus in track and field. I decided to attend Iona College in New Rochelle
NY and was fortunate to be a 4-year starter (3 years at RT and 1 year at TE). I was the first in my family
to graduate from college earning a B.B.A. I had an extra semester in college so I decided to be an
undergraduate student assistant while going back to get a degree to be a physical education teacher. I
started off as a runner doing odd jobs and setting up drills, then became the Receivers coach and finally
the Football Alumni Coordinator. While coaching at Iona I was attending Lehman and Queens College to
get the necessary credits to get my New York State Provisional Teachers certificate in Physical Education.
In 1998 I took a position at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison NJ to be the Offensive Line Coach
while I was teaching physical education at the Barnard Early Childhood Learning Center in New Rochelle.
I returned to my alma mater in 1999 to coach the wide receivers, coordinate the special teams and the
football alumni relations. During this time, I was completing my Masters in School Administration so I
could also earn my permanent New York State teachers’ certificate. I took my first full time coaching job
at William Paterson University in New Jersey in 2002 while completing the following roles; Wide
Receivers Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coach. From 2005 to 2007 I was employed as full-time assistant at William Paterson University completing the same job responsibilities from 02 to 04; while also helping out with the offense. In 2008 I took over as
the interim Head Football Coach, which would lead me to becoming the Head Football Coach at the end
of that season. I finished 3 wins shy of being the all-time winningest coach at William Paterson. I
stepped down as the Head Football Coach in January of 2018 to become the full time Assistant Director
of Recreation in charge of Club Sports. I also accepted a part time position for the fall of 2018 to be the
offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Kean University in NJ. I stepped aside from the
coaching position at Kean in Nov of 2018 to pursue full time opportunities in athletic administration and
scouting. I’m an experienced educator and coach, specializing in performance enhancement and
managing teams. I have strong, results oriented people skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
and achieve team goals. I’m recognized for team building and team motivation while be able to manage
multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and increase team performance. I’m a driven, self-starter who is
adept at organization, education, relationship building, and for producing results.
